The trustees include most of the founding trustees of the charity. Their professional backgrounds are in medicine, education, accounting and financial management, psychology, business management, and further areas of expertise include charity law and governance, health and language education including ESOL, art facilitation with refugees, interpersonal and crisis management skills, volunteer training, management and support skills, and work in the housing and homelessness sector. They have a wealth of experience in the asylum-seeker and refugee sector in working with destitute asylum seekers’ physical, emotional and mental health needs and in previous work with the roving night shelters in Leeds. 

The trustees share a determination to provide the best possible access to secure, safe and stable accommodation in an environment that protects the dignity, privacy and good health of asylum seekers with no recourse to public funds.
